This is a question that comes up a lot in our line of work. We often get realtors or brokers asking us, well what can you do for us and how will it affect our sale price. We want to begin this post by clearly stating that we are under no misconception that simply clean carpets will increase the value of a home. We do firmly believe that clean carpets will increase your potential pool of buyers substantially. Carpets and tile are some of the first thing your potential buyers will inspect when they enter your home for the first time. A set of nice and clean wall to wall carpet can elicit a very strong emotional reaction from a buyer. These things are important in the real estate line of work, because no matter how many times people here that real estate is not an emotional process it always inevitable ends up being an emotional deal. You want your potential buyers to feel a feeling of warmth and cleanliness when they enter the home that you have posted for sale. We are firm believers in scheduling a cleaning before the house is ever even listed on the MLS. You never know that first potential buyer might be the one that will fall in love with it. We also often get asked what kind of carpet cleaning the realtor should have performed in the home. To this we believe that there is only one true answer. Without a doubt it should be a steam carpet cleaning that is performed. The reason for this is that these cleanings not only remove all of the visible stains and soil on the carpet, but also remove much of the organic material that could be causing odors in the home. There is nothing worse than having a listing that smells funny. Who wants to ask the other agents to talk their clients into looking past some offensive odor, when 9 times out of 10 a simple steam cleaning would take care of the issue. We offer many of our regular realtors a sort of loyalty program where we give them bulk pricing on many of the listings they get. As a professional carpet cleaner we love this work because the homes are empty and everyone involved is very motivated. We begin every real estate cleaning with a thorough vacuuming of the carpet. We then inspect all potential issues that could arise so that we can inform the agent of any other issues that may be present. After the inspection has been completed we truly begin the carpet cleaning process. We start with a gentle and effective pre treatment of all areas. After this we begin the deep agitation process that helps break up many of the other stubborn stains that have been left behind by other cleaners. After the solution has been allowed to work for a while we begin to extract the carpet. We use large truckmounted cleaning systems that allow a deeper more thorough clean that many have seen in the past. When the cleaning is complete we do a final grooming process. This insures that when your first potential buyer walks through that door they are amazed by the cleanliness of your property. If you ever have any questions we can always be reached at our Website or by calling the office. Thanks again for taking the time to read.
